S&P Rating for A.P

News

Bacheli, Chhattisgarh, India.
The financial services company and rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has set targets to downgrade something once in every few days. Its high level analysts are in a tremendous pressure to downgrade some thing or some one.
After downgrading Indian economy last week, now it has decided to downgrade Andhra Pradesh from its existing MMM rating to XXX rating. “This sharp downgrade has been influenced by the recent bi-elections held in Andhra Pradesh” said Mr. A.Satyanarayana Murthy, a senior analyst in S&P team. This downgrade is so sharp that many Indian states have overtaken A.P in the ratings. Bihar, with TTT rating is now placed 3 slots above A.P.

“We have downgraded Andhra Pradesh from the earlier MMM rating to XXX, as it is strongly felt that people in Andhra decide their leaders, not according to their capacity to rule or their sincerity in public life, but they vote with sympathy for the tears shed by a widow and a young lady, who claims, against the general and true feelings of the whole world, that her brother is innocent” a press release from S&P declared.
Upon probing deeper by our Saikorian correspondent to elaborate, Mr. A.S.Murthy said “This rating is quite transparent and fair, after we have learnt that around 60 crores of rupees have been confiscated along with gold, silver and 3 lakhs cases of liquor during the recent elections held in A.P. It is estimated that many hundreds of crores and liquor went unnoticed and used.”
He continued “We conducted a detailed study of the present state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh and found that there is no governance in the state. The ministers are either afraid of going to jail or being kicked in the butt by madam at Delhi. The liquor scam is only one of the many scams that are doing the rounds in A.P, like private education scam, private bus scam, Irrigation scams and the corrupted political class…..”
Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P air dashed to Delhi to meet Madam and find out on how to react about his downgrade.
The Chief Minister of Bihar refused to comment on this latest development as he claimed that he always knew that Bihar is better than A.P.
A press release was sent from Chenchalaguda by YSR Jagan, which said,” This downgrade would not have happened if either his father was alive or if I am the Chief Minister of Andhra”
“They are a bunch of useless people,” Mr.D.Subba Rao, the Governor of RBI concluded about Andhra Pradesh, “With the natural resources, and hard working people we have expected A.P to do better. But they have messed up their own state. They are themselves to be blamed”
When asked by Saikorian news if S&P analyst Mr.A.S.Murthy and Mr. D.Subba Rao, who both hail from A.P, if they don’t consider themselves a part of the mess said. “No thankfully we are not, at present” echoed both of them.

The following are the immediate fallouts of the downgrade for A.P.
Kapil Sibal, who is facing a revolt form the IITs to conduct a common entrance exam for all Engineering Colleges has declared that he would now start a separate exam for all engineering seats called IIT-K (K for Kapil). “After the downgrade, students from A.P shall not be in a position to take part in the IIT-K” he said.
And finally, with so many M.Ps from A.P, it was felt that the next president shall be from the state. But last night the Congress Spokesman declared “Even though Mr. D.S.Kumar, a Saikorian and a noted builder of repute was in the race for the post of the President, his name is now dropped as the high command believes that it would send a wrong signal to the world by having a President from a state with XXX rating.”
