Dear Saikors,
This is a wonderful investment
opportunity for all Saikorians. We, at Vizag chapter have taken lot of pains in
making this happen. It was a team effort. Frankly, my contribution to this
project was very little as I did not believe in its success. But it did
materialize and now it is official and I am authorized to inform every
Saikorian about it through this media.
We have managed to secure a piece
of land exclusively for Saikorians. The extent of this land is around 250
acres. The location of this land is not very far from where we live, of course
in this modern age of fast travel, we can get to it in no time.
This land will be divided into
plots of various sizes to suit the requirements of all Saikorians and will be
sold to only those, who have a valid membership in any of the chapters by 31st
March 2009. The rate and other details shall be discussed and informed to you
after the Extraordinary General Body Meeting of our association to be held on
18thJanuary 2009. (Our school formation day also)
The executive committee of Vizag
chapter has wonderful ideas on how to develop this land. The central committee
of our association has recommended that the development shall be assigned to
"EHTPL", who are world renowned architects. And we are in touch with
EHTPL and they have submitted a rough idea of how they intend to develop it.
The deal is in final stages, I shall inform you the final outcome within a few
weeks. A colour brochure shall also be made ready soon.
This township is named
"SAIKORIAN NAGAR". It is in a very picturesque location with hills
and streams. It is really a heavenly place. I am sure you will not get to see a
better place on Earth.
As per the initial submission of
EHTPL, our Saikorian Nagar will be a complete master-planned private township
designed to meet all demanding international standards, where every necessity
and convenience one can think of will be within easy reach, including a 9 hole
golf course.
I should take this opportunity to
congratulate the team of Saikorians who have really struggled and put in a lot
of their time and energy in making this happen. It is the Saikorian spirit and
brotherhood that drove them to achieve this dream project for all us.
Personally, I know how difficult it is to deal with the officials,
politicians and the like in the process and how palms were greased, strings
pulled and on the whole it was a job wonderfully done.
Talking about string-pulling, we
had to take help from a top ranking official from Finance Department, many top
ranking personal from the services and even some Saikorians who are at the DRDO
and ISRO.
I must also thank the present
government, but for whose forethought and vision and daring, we would not have
realized this dream. It is needless to say that some top politicians in the
present government have secured lands adjacent to our Saikorian nagar. The land
abutting ours is named Sonia Nagar. And to clinch this deal we had to convince
them that we are going to develop our land very soon in international standards.
So, my friends, after I settle
down in Saikorian nagar, my address is going to be
